The formula for the most successful suitcase pack for Bali is:
Swimwear + sandals + barely there, comfortable clothing
With it’s hot, humid climate, and with the probability of doing a lot of walking very high, the most practical thing one can pack on a trip to Bali is a moveable, breathable, stretchy outfit. Personally, I don’t think a Bintang singlet and board shorts cut it for a day strolling in and out of the resorts and beach clubs along the coast of Nusa Dua. Each to their own, but I feel much more comfortable sitting down for an emergency cocktail in something a little nicer than my beach going clothes. The inclusion of these Hello Parry basic pieces in my pack was one of my smarter packing choices (as opposed to the 2 pairs of heels, one of which I only wore twice). Not only were the pieces super agreeable with most everything else I packed, their soft, light and stretchy nature lent itself to a day of exploring the coastline in 30+ degree heat, without looking like I had run through the markets covered in super glue.
