“Certainly, travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.”
– Mary Ritter Beard
If you follow me on Instagram, you would be well aware that I recently got to indulge in a sojourn at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Bali (you can see my trip in pictures at #lmmbgoestobali). It was the first holiday that my father and I had been on together since the whole family went to Melbourne in 2008! It was also the first time my dad ever got behind the camera for me, and the first time he really got a proper glimpse into some of the things I do with the often mis-understood role of ‘a blogger’. We ate, drank and swam our way up the coast of Nusa Dua, and even called into Seminyak for a wild night at Motel Mexicola‘s second birthday party – evidence of which you will not see here.
Since arriving home, I have been playing a massive game of catchup in between all of the normal day to day work I have to complete. There was a lot of editing, writing, emailing and shooting, but I am finally ready to start sharing some of the outcomes of our Bali trip! Over the course of the next few weeks, you will get to see more of what dad and I got up to while we were over in Bali (hint: there are lots of pools and beaches and food and alcohol involved. Sorry not sorry) as well as your usual dose of outfit and event posts. The coming months are going to be super busy, so here is to a whole lot of fun, fresh, exciting content!
