Claremont Quarter VIP Day

Celebrity meet and greets, free flowing champagne and special deals left, right and centre… what’s not to love about being a Claremont Quarter VIP?

Nothing grinds my gears more than hearing people complain about how boring Perth is. Try living in Burekup. Then you might have a leg to stand on. Over the past few years, Perth has seen a spike in trendy new eateries, bars and stores, and a lot of the big names have started to set up shop over here. Once upon a time, yes, Perth may have lived up to its ‘dullsville’ reputation, but nowadays we are so spoilt for choice! On any given day, there are umpteen events happening around town, and we have all the choice in the world when it comes to eating and shopping destinations.

On Thursday night, I was invited down to the Claremont Quarter VIP day to celebrate the launch of SS15. Fuelled by the free flowing wine, and roving canapes by Mama Tran, Gourmet Republik, Temptations Gourmet Espresso Bar and New Norcia Bakery, I was well equipped for a marathon shopping night. If having all of my favourite stores under one roof wasn’t enough, the one-day-only centre wide VIP day sale just puts the cherry on the cake. If ever there was a day to go on a shopping spree, it is Claremont Quarter VIP day (of which there are a few through out the year)! With all the big names – Gorman, Mecca Cosmetica, Sass & Bide and Willow to name a few – as well as a number of specialty stores, Claremont Quarter really sticks it to those who think Perth has nowhere decent to shop.

Post shopping frenzy, it was back to the VIP zone to kick back with DJ F.A.D.J., a glass of celebratory bubbles, a few more canapes, some good company and adorable french bulldog cuddles. After a good catch up with one of the impeccably dressed roaming models and some chats with friends, a little bit of play time with Peter Alexander clad insta-famous duo, Pierre and Remy, was the perfect end to the evening. Even they knew how to best shop up a storm at Claremont Quarter!

The thing I love most about Claremont Quarter (and Times Square) is all the little independent stores there! It’s so great.

Loved the little frenchies in your first photo as well. They’re so adorable!

Aren’t they gorgeous?! I am such a big Frenchie fan!

And I totally agree – I love that they are a very boutique friendly shopping centre 🙂
